I’ve never been into sports before, but I was looking for a hobby and the uniqueness of roller derby appealed to me. I’m quite a shy person, so Derby has really encouraged me to meet new people and go to games in places I wouldn’t have had the confidence to before.

What would you say to someone thinking of starting roller derby?

Do it! You’ll surprise yourself at what you can do!
